Robert Kiyosaki Offloads Bitcoin Despite Optimistic Price Predictions

Investor and author Robert Kiyosaki sells his Bitcoin investment of $2.25 million while planning to reinvest in business ventures.

Investor and author Robert Kiyosaki revealed on Friday that he sold his Bitcoin holdings amounting to $2.25 million and plans to reinvest the proceeds into his own businesses to create more cash flow.

Kiyosaki shared that he initially obtained the Bitcoin when it was trading around $6,000 and sold it at approximately $90,000. He intends to allocate the profits into two surgery centers and a billboard business, estimating that the investment could generate $27,500 in tax-free monthly income by February 2026.

“I am still very bullish and optimistic on Bitcoin and will begin acquiring more with my positive cash flow,” he stated. Earlier in November, he projected a Bitcoin price target of $250,000 by 2026 and forecasted that gold might hit $27,000 per ounce.

This announcement surprised many investors, coming during a period when Bitcoin’s price saw a decline to below $85,000, briefly dipping to $80,537. As of the time of this report, it had rebounded to about $84,000.

Kiyosaki’s moves reflect ongoing sentiment in the crypto market as many are feeling significant fear, particularly as the Crypto Fear & Greed Index reported extreme fear levels at 11. Bitcoin has plummeted over 33% from its all-time high above $126,000 reached in October, which preceded a shocking market crash.

Peter Brandt, a well-respected trader, also made comments on the market outlook, stating that Bitcoin may reach $200,000 by Q3 2029, believing the current downturn offers a positive perspective for the cryptocurrency’s future.
