Mo Shaikh, co-founder of Aptos Labs, has announced his resignation as CEO of the company. Aptos, a layer-1 blockchain, is known for its enhanced scalability, security, and transaction speeds, utilizing a unique programming language called Move, originally developed for Facebook's ceased Diem project.
In a detailed post on X, Shaikh expressed pride in Aptos' achievements over the past three years, including raising $400 million in venture capital and establishing a robust global ecosystem supported by thousands of innovators.

Ching will now step into the CEO role and guide the company through its next growth phase. Shaikh acknowledged the contributions of Aptos’ partners and investors such as BlackRock, Google, and PayPal, expressing deep gratitude for their unwavering support.
Shaikh plans to remain connected to Aptos as a strategic advisor, stating, "I will always remain a champion of Aptos and its mission" and looks forward to helping maintain its leadership in the blockchain space.
