Hyperliquid (HYPE) Sees 50% Surge Over Two Weeks: Future Outlook
HYPE bucks market trends, experiencing significant price gains while other cryptocurrencies struggle.
It’s quite difficult to identify a widely held cryptocurrency that hasn’t faced a drop of over 20% in recent weeks. However, Hyperliquid (HYPE) stands out as an exception, showcasing a robust performance that has sparked speculation of further increases in the near future.
The Lone Survivor
Bitcoin (BTC) has experienced a crash to a 14-month low of approximately $69,000, Ethereum (ETH) is struggling around the $2,000 threshold, while Ripple (XRP) and Solana (SOL) have reported declines of 27% in the past week. Conversely, Hyperliquid (HYPE) has managed to defy this downturn and is currently trading around $32, reflecting a 50% rise over a two-week period.

This impressive performance coincides with several favorable developments within the ecosystem. Recently, Ripple announced that its institutional brokerage platform, Ripple Prime, has begun supporting Hyperliquid. Additionally, Grayscale noted its positive outlook on the rise in perpetual futures trading of non-crypto assets on decentralized exchanges.
Moreover, on-chain data indicated growing interest in HIP-3 activity, supported by soaring trading volumes and open interest which have seen metrics reach $1B in open interest and $4.8B in 24-hour trading volumes, despite the broader market experiencing a downturn.
HYPE continues to attract optimism from analysts, with many believing it has further potential for growth. Analyst Crypto General anticipates volatility ahead, foreseeably leading to HYPE breaking above $100 later this year, while Zach emphasizes the compelling reasons to buy and hold HYPE.
“There are so many reasons to buy and hold $HYPE. The more it captures market share and volume, the stronger the buybacks will become.” — Zach (@CryptoZachLA) on February 4, 2026
Can It Follow the Pack?
The overarching cryptocurrency market remains unstable, and persistent bearish conditions could eventually impact HYPE. Some analysts, including one identified as Greeny, predict that HYPE may drop to $20 later in 2026.
