XRP, PI, and DOGE Drop as Bitcoin's Surge Stalls at $70K

Recent gains in the cryptocurrency market were reversed, with significant losses registered by altcoins like PI, DOGE, and XRP.

Bitcoin’s rally came to a halt just above $70,000, pulling back to $68,000 where it found some support. In the meantime, several altcoins saw declines, with Ethereum dropping below $2,000 and XRP plummeting under $1.50. Dogecoin has had a rough 24 hours as well.

BTC Rally Stopped Above $70K

The leading cryptocurrency experienced significant fluctuations earlier in the month, peaking at $72,000 before retracing to around $68,000. Bitcoin rose sharply by $12,000 but faced resistance, leading to subsequent declines before finding upward momentum again. However, it was unable to maintain gains above $70,000, closing at $68,000 on Sunday evening.
