Dubai TOKEN2049 Conference Delayed Due to Geopolitical Tensions

The TOKEN2049 event in Dubai has been postponed until April 2027 amid rising geopolitical issues.

One of the largest annual crypto-oriented events, TOKEN2049 in Dubai, has reportedly been rescheduled for next year. According to Wu Blockchain, the Dubai TOKEN2049 conference will be held on April 21-22, 2027, after being initially planned for April of this year.

Official Statement:
This decision was not taken lightly. Preparations for the event were progressing strongly. However, ensuring the global crypto industry can gather safely, and at the scale and quality that define TOKEN2049, remains our top priority.

An exclusive report indicated that the TOKEN2049 summit, originally slated for April 29-30, 2026, has now been delayed to April 21-22, 2027. This postponement comes in response to several attacks on locations in Dubai by Iranian drones and shrapnel, leading many in the crypto community to evacuate.

This adjustment follows closely after event organizers claimed that the conference would continue despite other events halting due to increasing conflicts.
