KuCoin Launches QR-Code Payment System for Crypto Transactions

KuCoin introduces a QR-code payment system enabling direct cryptocurrency transactions for customers.

KuCoin has launched a point-of-sale system facilitating direct payments for consumers from their accounts on the exchange. Merchants can implement this tool, known as KuCoin Pay, via a QR code scanner or the KuCoin application.

What You Need to Know:

  • This tool allows transactions with 54 cryptocurrencies, including Bitcoin, Ethereum, USDT, and USDC.
  • Several merchants are lined up to start using this feature in January.

In August, the digital payment platform Flexa revealed a similar offering in collaboration with major retailers. This development is intended to merge cryptocurrency transactions with traditional payment networks, thereby enhancing the integration of digital currencies into everyday shopping.
