Decline of Ripple (XRP) ETFs and Recovery in Bitcoin (BTC) Funds
Recent trends show XRP ETFs are struggling to attract interest, while BTC funds appear to be on a path of recovery after significant outflows.
The cryptocurrency ETF landscape reveals significant changes as the spot Ripple (XRP) ETFs are facing dwindling interest from investors, resulting in eight consecutive days without notable activity. Conversely, Bitcoin (BTC) funds have initiated a recovery following a substantial outflow period, reclaiming over $2 billion since a drastic decline began in early October.
Current State of XRP ETFs
XRP ETFs saw a historic dip, with more days recording zero activity than those with inflows. The figures from SoSoValue indicate that this week there were negligible net inflows totalling just around $2.66 million. March has proven particularly detrimental, with nearly $29 million in net outflows.

In comparison to the robust performance seen in the ETFs’ debut phase, this downturn is stark.
Bitcoin Funds Showcase Resilience
The situation is markedly different for Bitcoin ETFs. After experiencing a massive outflow, the funds have been on a rebound, reportedly recovering nearly $3 billion of the $9 billion lost in late October, signaling a potential upward trend in investor confidence. Although recent data shows a slight outflow, the outlook appears more optimistic as the funds have managed to recuperate from their past losses.
“Bitcoin ETFs have reversed almost ~$3 billion of the massive ~$9 Billion in outflows from 10/10 through the end of Feb. While they still have net outflows of over ~$6 billion since 10/10 — we’re almost flat on the year now.”

In contrast, Ethereum (ETH) ETFs have recorded eight days of outflows, indicating greater volatility in that market compared to the steadfast recovery seen in Bitcoin funds.
This evolving narrative showcases the dynamic shifts within the cryptocurrency ETF sector, prompting both caution and opportunity for investors leaning toward these assets.
