Brad Garlinghouse: Ripple's Focus on XRP Improvement

Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse emphasizes the company's commitment to enhancing XRP's usefulness and trustworthiness, highlighting recent acquisitions and the role of stablecoins in the crypto market.

Ripple’s Commitment to XRP Improvement

During a recent conference in Miami, Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse highlighted the company’s ongoing mission to make XRP a more reliable and valuable asset. He noted that over the past year, Ripple has focused on bolstering XRP’s utility and reputation, particularly with significant acquisitions like Hidden Road.

Garlinghouse acknowledged that stablecoins are becoming increasingly crucial in the cryptocurrency landscape, serving as a bridge for traditional financial institutions to enter the space. He emphasized that these developments are pivotal for establishing XRP as a key digital asset with enhanced trust and functionality.

Quote:
“Our business has been growing very quickly, we do care deeply about the health of the crypto markets overall, but to some degree, our technology is just a piece of our technology. And so, we made two big acquisitions last year, both for over $1 billion. Both have outperformed our expectations.”
Translation:
“Bizim işimiz çok hızlı büyüyor, genel olarak kripto pazarlarının sağlığına derin bir şekilde önem veriyoruz, ancak bir dereceye kadar, teknolojimiz sadece teknolojimizin bir parçası. Geçen yıl 1 milyar dolardan fazla iki büyük satın alma gerçekleştirdik. Her ikisi de beklentilerimizi aştı.”

In light of XRP’s challenging position, which has seen a decline of over 60% since its peak in July 2025, Garlinghouse remains optimistic, asserting that their strategies will lead to record performance in the future.
