Ripple's New Stablecoin Launch for South Korean Market

Ripple is making strides to promote its RLUSD stablecoin as the top choice for South Korean traders with a recent announcement regarding its launch on Coinone.

Ripple continues to push for the adoption of RLUSD as the preferred stablecoin among South Korean traders. The latest update from the company highlights that RLUSD has been launched on Coinone, one of the largest regulated exchanges in South Korea.

Currently, traders in Korea can directly access this asset in KRW.

Coinone is recognized as a leading player in the Korean crypto exchange space, with significant trading volumes reported.

This release is part of Ripple’s strategy to globally position RLUSD as a key on-ramp for cryptocurrency. As reported previously, the company is also exploring whether RLUSD can streamline payment processes in Singapore through a sandbox initiative managed by the Monetary Authority of Singapore.
