Bettors on Polymarket are wagering that the documentary will name Len Sassaman as the individual behind the pseudonym.

A recent HBO documentary directed by Emmy-nominated Cullen Hoback, who previously revealed the identity behind the QAnon conspiracy theory, is anticipated to disclose Satoshi's identity.\n Polymarket bettors are inclined to believe that Len Sassaman is the person that the film will identify.

Sassaman, who tragically took his own life in 2011 after struggling with depression, is considered a potential Satoshi due to his extensive academic work related to cryptography and his strong beliefs in privacy and decentralization.

Adding to the speculation surrounding Sassaman's potential identity as Satoshi is the timing of their respective withdrawals from the public eye. Sassaman's death coincided closely with Satoshi's last posts on BTCTalk, once a primary forum for cryptocurrency discussions.

This marks not the first attempt to unveil the identity of Bitcoin's creator. In 2014, Newsweek purportedly identified Satoshi as Dorian Prentice Satoshi Nakamoto, a naturalized U.S. citizen of Japanese descent with a background in mathematics and engineering, who initially denied involvement with Bitcoin but later provided clarification through legal representatives.

Current bettors are also considering the possibility that the revelation could involve another unidentified individual or even a group of people. However, another contract on Polymarket suggests there is an 89% chance that Satoshi's true identity will remain uncertain in 2024.
