Circle Launches Paymaster Feature for Using USDC in Transaction Fees

Circle introduces a new feature allowing users to pay transaction fees using USDC, reducing reliance on native tokens.

What You Need to Know

  • Circle has launched Paymaster, enabling users to pay transaction fees on Arbitrum and Base using USDC instead of Ether.
  • Paymaster has a 10% fee on gas costs, which is currently waived until June 30.

Circle, the issuer of the $48 billion USDC stablecoin, rolled out the Paymaster feature to streamline transaction fee payments. Users can now use USDC to cover fees on different blockchains, eliminating the need to hold multiple native tokens.

Paymaster accepts USDC and automatically manages payments using the native tokens for validators, promoting convenience for users. This service is set to be expanded to multiple platforms including Ethereum, Polygon POS, and Solana, further enhancing the usability of USDC. Visit Circle Paymaster for more information.
