The team at Story Protocol provides a commitment to establishing a new standard for intellectual property, effectively making it adaptable to the digital environment. They claim this innovation allows users to better track, protect, and monetize their intellectual assets. So far, they have attracted considerable interest, successfully raising $80 million in a funding round led by Andreessen Horowitz (a16z), totaling the project’s funding to $140 million.

PIP Labs envisions a unique merger of blockchain technology and artificial intelligence, enabling individuals to claim payment for data leveraged to train AI algorithms. In the words of SY Lee, CEO of PIP Labs, “Without great original IP, the AI models don’t develop,” implying the importance of original content in AI development.
