MANTRA Unveils Accelerator Initiative for Real-World Asset Startups in Collaboration with Google Cloud

A new accelerator program launched by MANTRA aims to empower startups focused on the tokenization of real-world assets, supported by Google Cloud.

Layer 1 blockchain MANTRA has introduced a new startup accelerator program named RWAccelerator, aimed at promoting the tokenization of real-world assets (RWAs) with the support of Google Cloud.

The RWAccelerator initiative provides startups with funding, mentorship, AI tools, and technical assistance while they develop solutions in areas such as real estate, financial products, and alternative assets. This was announced during the Consensus Hong Kong event.

Key Details:

  • MANTRA’s RWAccelerator offers resources tailored for startups focused on tokenizing real-world assets.
  • Google Cloud will contribute technical support, cloud credits, and hands-on workshops to assist selected projects.
  • According to the World Economic Forum, approximately 10% of the global GDP could be tokenized on blockchains by 2027, highlighting the significance of RWAs in this transformation.

Richard Widmann, Google’s global head of Web3 strategy stated during the event, “Our mission is really to build that bridge between kind of the large, planetary scale businesses that people use and are familiar with every day…”

Startups can participate in one of three distinct tracks: infrastructure, tokenization, or decentralized finance (DeFi). Successful applicants will receive diverse resources and guidance from Google Cloud’s offerings, including cloud credits and professional workshops.

John Patrick Mullin, CEO of MANTRA, emphasized, “This is a powerful opportunity for startups to harness cutting-edge technology and gain access to resources and mentorship.”

The application window for the first RWAccelerator cohort is open until March 20, 2025, with the program commencing in Dubai the following month.
