This managerial position is critical for shaping public perceptions of Ethereum, which has over $66 billion in total value locked within its ecosystem. The successful candidate will manage several high-profile accounts, including the Ethereum account on X that boasts 3.7 million followers.

The foundation notes that applicants should have experience managing accounts with over 10,000 followers and a thorough understanding of Ethereum’s technical and cultural influence in the crypto space.
Requirements for Applicants

- Recommend an “underrated” Ethereum resource.
This hiring initiative seems timely, along with the Ethereum Foundation’s strategic deployment of 45,000 ETH valued at around $120 million into DeFi protocols like Aave, Spark, and Compound.
Amidst criticism over ETH sales for funding operations, the foundation’s treasury reduced from 617,000 ETH in January 2020 to 269,000 ETH (approximately $894 million) by January 2025.
