Upcoming Crypto Roundtable to be Hosted at the White House

A significant crypto summit is on the horizon, aiming to consolidate digital asset discussions within the U.S. administration.

What to know:

  • U.S. President Donald Trump will host a crypto summit on March 7, featuring key industry leaders and members of the President’s Working Group on Digital Assets.
  • The meeting follows remarks by Crypto and AI Czar David Sacks focusing on the need to keep digital asset innovation within the United States.

Details on the Summit

The White House has announced that President Donald Trump will lead a crucial summit on crypto scheduled for March 7. This gathering will include notable figures from the crypto sector and the President’s Working Group on Digital Assets.

David Sacks, the Crypto and AI Czar, alongside Bo Hines, will facilitate the summit, although President Trump is expected to address attendees as well. “Attendees will include prominent founders, CEOs, and investors from the crypto industry, as well as members of the President’s Working Group on Digital Assets.”

Sacks recently discussed the need for keeping digital asset financial innovation in the U.S., stating, “Financial assets are destined to become digital, just like every analog industry has become digital…we want that value creation to happen in the United States, rather than giving it away to other countries.”

The White House did not disclose the names of other attendees expected at the summit.

This announcement follows a busy week in the crypto landscape, marked by a federal judge’s approval of the SEC’s withdrawal of its case against Coinbase and statements from Ethereum’s Joe Lubin and Gemini’s Cameron Winklevoss about easing SEC investigations into their firms. The SEC has also moved to pause its case against Justin Sun, founder of the Tron Foundation.

“After the previous administration unfairly prosecuted the digital asset space, President Trump’s policy vision represents a new era for digital financial technology,” the release emphasizes, adding that the administration seeks to establish a clear regulatory framework to foster innovation and safeguard economic liberty.
