Cryptocurrency custody firm Taurus has successfully expanded its services to Turkey by partnering with Istanbul-based BankPozitif. This partnership marks the implementation of institutional-grade digital asset infrastructure for the first time in a Turkish bank.

Taurus is providing its primary custody tool alongside its “EXPLORER” service, which facilitates blockchain connectivity. Lamine Brahimi, co-founder of Taurus, highlighted Turkey’s promising landscape for digital assets due to its high adoption rates and favorable regulatory environment. The economic challenges faced by Turkey have led many to turn to cryptocurrencies as a safeguard against soaring inflation.
