
Sony and LINE Collaborate on Blockchain Integration

Details of the Integration:
LINE claims approximately 200 million active users, and the partnership will transition four games from its platform, including Sleepagotchi, Farm Frens, Puffy Match, and Pocket Mob, into the Soneium ecosystem.
The integration aims to bring users the benefits of web3 seamlessly. “LINE has built a strong foothold, and integrating popular mini-apps into the Soneium environment will increase accessibility,” says Jun Watanabe, Chairman of Sony Block Solutions Labs. “We believe this partnership will augment engagement and adoption significantly.”
Soneium’s Overview: Soneium debuted in January and is engineered to facilitate a smooth transition for web2 users into the web3 domain. It is currently ranked as one of the top 15 layer-2 networks by total value locked, utilizing Optimism’s OP Stack.
