Recently, the BlackRock USD Institutional Digital Liquidity Fund, known as ‘BUIDL’, surpassed a remarkable $1 billion in assets under management, as announced by the company on March 13.

This achievement signifies a major benchmark for the tokenization sector, marking it as the first tokenized fund from a Wall Street institution to reach a billion-dollar milestone.

BUIDL was initiated in March 2024 and represents BlackRock’s first tokenized fund on a public blockchain.
