Former CFO of Zodia Custody Jonathan Hugh Departs from the Crypto Firm

Zodia Custody's Chief Financial Officer Jonathan Hugh has left the company along with former COO Samuel Howe.

Zodia Custody’s Chief Financial Officer, Jonathan Hugh, has exited the London-based firm earlier this year, the company confirmed. The former Chief Operating Officer, Samuel Howe, also left the firm recently.

“Jonathan has been a valued member of the Zodia Custody team for the last two years and we remain grateful for his deep expertise, dedication, and guidance during a period of high growth for the company,” said a spokesperson for Zodia Custody in an email.

The spokesperson also shared that Zodia Custody continues to expand, growing its workforce from 97 employees in 2023 to 140 globally today. They expect to reinforce their market presence and reach into new territories in 2025.

Hugh, previously the CFO of crypto trading firm GSR, did not comment on this development before publication time. Zodia Custody is supported by multiple financial institutions including Standard Chartered Bank, SBI Group, Northern Trust, and National Australia Bank.
