A new collection of digital art featuring Elvis Presley has been inscribed on the Bitcoin network, marking a significant intersection of art and cryptocurrency.

Elvis Digital Art Collection on Bitcoin

A digital art collection inspired by Elvis Presley, titled "Elvis Side $Btc," has been created and inscribed on the Bitcoin blockchain by the IP project Royalty in collaboration with the inscription service OrdinalsBot.

This project features 1,935 generative images and aims to leverage the proceeds to establish the "Elvis Legacy Council" DAO.

The collection's artwork is designed by Joe Petruccio, who is officially licensed by the Elvis Presley Estate.

According to Ordinals co-founder Toby Lewis, the inscriptions are akin to securing a prominent advertising spot within the Bitcoin network:

"We see it as being like acquiring a billboard in Times Square because of the visibility that it gives you within the Bitcoin network and that will last forever."

Royalty plans to publish a litepaper soon detailing how 5% of revenue from sales will support the Elvis Legacy Council, which aims to oversee the future of Elvis's digital legacy through a dedicated token.
