Ripple co-founder Chris Larsen has backed Vice President Kamala Harris significantly by donating over $10 million worth of XRP to her campaign efforts. This contribution makes him the leading individual supporter in the cryptocurrency sector for Harris as she prepares to compete against Donald Trump in the upcoming election next month.

Larsen stated, "It's time for the Democrats to have a new approach to tech innovation, including crypto," claiming that Harris will guarantee the dominance of American technology worldwide. His prior contributions also include $1,750,000 to the political action committee Future Forward.

Although Larsen's contributions are notable, the crypto sector’s total political contributions, particularly from the super PAC Fairshake, amount to $169 million, highlighting a robust influence in the 2024 elections. Fairshake has shown a strategy to distribute spending evenly between political parties.

The political landscape reflects individual endorsements from crypto leaders, each supporting their preferred candidates while grappling with the Republican and Democratic dynamics.
