HashKey Capital to Launch Asia's First XRP Tracker Fund Supported by Ripple
This new fund aims to enhance institutional investment opportunities in XRP for cross-border transactions across Asia.
HashKey Capital has announced what it describes as the first fund in Asia designed to track the performance of XRP, the digital asset tied to Ripple’s global payment network.
The new fund, named the HashKey XRP Tracker Fund, will be accessible to professional investors and facilitates exposure to XRP without the need for direct asset management. This initiative allows investments through cash and in-kind subscriptions, coupled with monthly liquidity.
- Key Points:
- The XRP Tracker Fund represents Asia’s first investment of its kind.
- It enables professional investors to access XRP indirectly.
- Ripple is an early supporter of this fund and aims to partner with HashKey on future financial offerings.
HashKey Capital has a history of partnerships with Ripple, including its previously listed Hong Kong ETFs for Bitcoin (BTC) and Ethereum (ETH).
Ripple’s Fiona Murray stated that this collaboration is part of a larger strategy to introduce more compliant crypto investment options to institutional players in the Asia-Pacific region.
