A recent report revealed that Ripple (XRP) is now the leading cryptocurrency in India, overtaking Bitcoin and Shiba Inu in trading volume.
Ripple (XRP) has emerged as the most actively traded cryptocurrency among Indian investors, according to a recent CoinSwitch report, which indicates that XRP now holds 13.3% of the total trading volume in India, outperforming both Bitcoin and Shiba Inu.
Reportedly, Bitcoin trails closely behind with an 8.4% share, while Dogecoin accounts for 6.4%. Other notable cryptocurrencies include Solana (5.6%), Ethereum (4.4%), PEPE (3.1%), and Shiba Inu (2.6%).
Balaji Srihari, Vice President of CoinSwitch, commented:
