CoinDesk has officially revealed that the upcoming Consensus event, a prominent fixture on the cryptocurrency conference calendar, will be hosted in Miami, Florida, in 2026.
Consensus 2026 is scheduled for May 5-7 at the Miami Beach Convention Center.
This event, which is the longest-running large-scale conference in the crypto space, is celebrated for uniting various sectors of the industry.
The inaugural Consensus took place in 2015 in New York City. The conference transitioned to a virtual format during the pandemic and was then held in Austin, Texas, in 2022, 2023, and 2024. Earlier this year, CoinDesk also held a successful Consensus in Hong Kong with over 10,000 attendees.
Consensus 2025, the flagship North American event, is set for Toronto on May 14-16, attracting headline speakers such as Eric Trump, Charles Hoskinson, and Sergey Nazarov. Organizers expect attendance of up to 15,000.
Michael Lau, Chairman of Consensus, expressed excitement about Miami hosting the conference:
“As a leading tech and crypto hub, Miami provides an exceptional setting for innovation and collaboration. Its vibrant culture, strategic location, and international connectivity make it an ideal destination for participants from around the world.”
He added,
“Consensus in Miami will serve as a focal point for innovators and leaders, facilitating critical discussions and business opportunities in this thriving city.”
Tickets for the Consensus Miami event will be available for purchase during the Consensus 2025 event in Toronto.
