A new government relations firm has set up shop in Washington, D.C. to assist cryptocurrency and artificial intelligence enterprises in influencing U.S. policy. NexusOne Consulting is spearheaded by white-collar defense attorney Jeff Ifrah, former government lawyer Jim Trusty, and Ross Branson, who was part of the Commerce Department during President Donald Trump’s first term.
“There’s a once-in-a-generation opportunity to shape the future of tech policy,” Ifrah stated in a press release. “We’re here to make sure innovators don’t just react to policy — they influence it.”
Trump has expressed his goal to establish the U.S. as the crypto capital of the world and has taken steps to create a strategic bitcoin reserve. Located directly across from the White House, NexusOne plans to serve as a liaison between private companies and the government, focusing on lobbying efforts for firms involved in AI, cryptocurrency, and social platforms.
