Gemini Welcomes Brad Vopni to Spearhead Institutional Initiatives
Gemini has appointed Brad Vopni as the new head of its institutional division, succeeding in enhancing its institutional strategy.
Gemini, a prominent cryptocurrency exchange, has announced the appointment of Brad Vopni as the head of its institutional division. Vopni, previously associated with Hudson River Trading, will play a crucial role in directing and implementing the company’s institutional strategy.
Key Highlights:
- Vopni is tasked with managing and executing Gemini’s institutional strategies.
- The platform collaborates with several Exchange-Traded Fund (ETF) providers, including VanEck and Purpose.
In Vopni’s own words, “Gemini is well positioned to serve the growing institutional community wherever they are along their crypto journey…”. This statement reflects the firm’s commitment to providing exceptional service tailored for institutional clients.
Prior to this role, Vopni led the digital asset sector at Hudson River Trading, facilitating the firm’s entry into cryptocurrency trading. Moreover, he has a significant background in financial markets, having formerly spearheaded capital markets at NextShares LLC, a role in which he contributed to the launch of a pioneering actively-managed ETF.
Gemini’s constant innovation is evident as they also welcomed Dan Chen as the new chief financial officer earlier in March, indicating their readiness for future growth.
