Donald Trump Jr. Denounces False Claims of Truth Social Memecoin

Donald Trump Jr. refutes allegations of a new memecoin linked to Truth Social, cautioning that such claims are mere scams.

Donald Trump Jr. has dismissed viral speculation suggesting that Truth Social, the conservative social media platform associated with his father, former President Donald Trump, is introducing a new memecoin.

Infamous influencer Ran Neuner spread these claims, falsely associating this token with the same group as the TRUMP memecoin.

“There’s no truth whatsoever about Truth Social launching a memecoin,” Trump Jr. stated on X. “Don’t be fooled by false information people are circulating.” Link to post

The assertion comes at a time when numerous unaffiliated ‘Truth’-themed tokens are circulating on Ethereum and Solana trading platforms. Data from DEXTools indicates this surge.

World Liberty Financial (WLFI), a DeFi project affiliated with the Trump family, echoed Trump Jr.’s clarification:

“Don’t be fooled. There is no new Trump crypto project,” WLFI asserted on X. “WLFI is the only DeFi project backed by the Trumps. Anyone else pushing fake tokens is just a scammer trying to take advantage of people who don’t know better.”

Despite growing speculation around political tokens, Truth Social, launched in 2022, has not officially engaged in crypto activities. However, it has plans to launch a rewards coin along with a digital wallet, according to a shareholder letter from late April.
