The Blockchain Group Acquires $70 Million in Bitcoin, Increasing Its Total to 1,471 BTC

Significant capital maneuvers lead to an acquisition valued at 60.2 million euros, showcasing an impressive YTD yield of 1,097.6% in Bitcoin.

The Blockchain Group (ALTBG), listed on Euronext Growth Paris and recognized as Europe’s first Bitcoin treasury company, has recently purchased 624 BTC for roughly 60.2 million euros ($68.8 million).

This acquisition stems from two key financing strategies: a reserved capital increase and the issuance of convertible bonds.

On May 20, 2025, they gathered 6.8 million euros via a private placement, allowing the Group to acquire 80 BTC. Just days later, on May 26, a convertible bond issuance raised 55.3 million euros, backed by Fulgur Ventures, leading to an additional purchase of 544 BTC.

Consequently, the Blockchain Group and its subsidiary in Luxembourg now possess 1,471 BTC, valued at around 131.9 million euros, averaging 89,687 euros per Bitcoin.

Since the start of 2025, they have achieved a yield of 1,097.6% along with a substantial increase of 439 BTC and a value increase of 42.3 million euros.
