DWF Labs has dismissed a partner following serious allegations of drugging at a bar.
DWF Labs, a cryptocurrency trading firm, announced the firing of a partner after claims surfaced on social media regarding the alleged spiking of a woman's drink at a bar in Hong Kong.
In a press release, the firm stated it had terminated the partner from 'management and operational roles effective immediately,' labeling the allegations as 'deeply concerning.'
The investigation is ongoing, but the company did not disclose the name of the partner involved. A spokesperson for DWF directed inquiries to the press release.
The press release emphasized that the firm is committed to transparency and maintaining high ethical standards, stating, 'We do not condone actions that go against our core values of integrity, respect, and accountability.'
Earlier, an X account (@hananotsorry) claimed that on October 24, the partner drugged her drink in a bar and that the incident was captured on video. While the person in the post was not identified, it mentioned that the police were informed.
