Turnkey, Founded by Ex-Coinbase Staff, Secures $30 Million in Series B Funding

Turnkey aims to advance its engineering team with a substantial $30 million in funding, led by Bain Capital Crypto.

Turnkey, a company specializing in crypto wallet infrastructure, has successfully raised $30 million in a Series B funding round. This initiative was led by Bain Capital Crypto, with participation from Lightspeed Faction and Galaxy Ventures.

Founded by former Coinbase employees Bryce Ferguson and Jack Kearney, Turnkey is focused on aiding developers in creating intuitive wallets through the use of application programming interfaces (APIs). This strategic funding is intended to bolster their engineering team, a focus underlined by Ferguson’s statement:

“We’re moving from this world of these slow, clunky systems that were designed for buying and holding crypto to very high throughput, machine-based transactions.”

In its endeavor to expand, Turnkey’s current workforce of 35 employees is poised for growth.
