Long-standing Ethereum supporter William Mougayar will take charge of the Ethereum Market Research Center (EMRC), a community-led project designed to elevate the profile of Ethereum’s ecosystem within institutional and professional circles.

The EMRC will showcase valuable insights from respected builders, researchers, and analysts linked to the Ethereum space. The hub will offer a mix of original research from EMRC contributors, curated content from external sources, thought leadership articles, and real-time news updates.

Mougayar emphasizes that despite Ethereum being a leader in market share, its communication efforts have lagged behind competitors like Solana. “Ethereum is number one in terms of market share, but we need to better articulate its messages,” he noted. The initiative aims not only to amplify Ethereum’s narrative but also to propel it into the next phase of institutional adoption involving various stakeholders.

Mougayar believes that the perception of competing layer-2 blockchains diminishing Ethereum’s value is misguided, asserting that both layers work together within an integrated ecosystem. He concluded, “While decentralization is key, enhancing visibility through structured communication will help unify diverse efforts across the Ethereum site.”
