Ivy Integrates Circle's USDC and EURC for Instant Payments

Ivy, a German payments startup, has enhanced its platform by incorporating Circle's USDC and EURC stablecoins, enabling instant transactions across Europe.

Ivy, a German fintech firm that specializes in instant payment solutions, has announced that it will now support Circle’s USDC and EURC stablecoins. This integration aims to improve bank payments, allowing cryptocurrencies, payment service providers (PSPs), and e-commerce merchants to execute instant transactions and convert funds into stablecoins seamlessly.

Key Highlights:

  • Ivy asserts itself among the pioneering platforms that facilitate immediate bank payment settlements using the USDC, the second most prevalent dollar stablecoin, and EURC, Europe’s leading euro stablecoin.
  • Expansion of Ivy’s API enables continuous bank payments, local fund settlements in varied currencies across Europe, and straightforward conversions into stablecoins.

Stablecoins, especially in the blockchain ecosystem, play a crucial role in trading, securing transactions in an otherwise complex financial landscape. In light of its recent IPO in the U.S., Circle is also focusing on enhancing global payment solutions, prominently through its new Circle Payments Network that debuted earlier this year.

“Real-time payment rails and stablecoins complement each other perfectly,” stated Ferdinand Dabitz, CEO and co-founder of Ivy. “Numerous merchants are already capitalizing on our global API for instantaneous bank transactions. By incorporating Circle’s USDC and EURC, our users can now create and liquidate USDC directly from fiat currency via a consistent 24/7 settlement layer.”
