Injective Protocol is currently undergoing tests to ensure EVM compatibility for Ethereum smart contracts to run natively. Following recent advancements like SBET tokenization, there’s speculation about INJ crypto’s readiness for a massive rally of up to 130%.
Crypto market prices have shown stability over the weekend, maintaining a total market capitalization above $4 trillion. While Bitcoin’s dominance remains below 60%, Ethereum is gaining momentum, turning it into one of the best cryptos to buy. With significant investments flowing towards Ethereum, an altcoin season seems imminent.
Is INJ Crypto Ready for a 130% Spike?
As the altcoin market anticipates a price surge, Injective has recently been in the spotlight with some positive news, including steady INJ prices, which have increased by nearly 20% since Friday, July 25. These movements over the past weekend allowed investors to recover losses from the previous week.
If buyers can successfully reverse losses from July 23, it might create a robust foundation for INJ to revisit December 2024 highs around $35. If achieved, it would signify a 130% increase, showcasing Injective’s active development and platform improvements.
Launch of EVM Environment in Testnet
Injective announced a significant milestone last week, asserting the successful testing of an EVM environment aimed at integrating Ethereum-compatible smart contracts effectively.
This integration will eradicate requirements for cross-chain bridges or rollups, enabling DeFi protocols operating on Ethereum to function seamlessly on Injective, aided by its low fees and superior scalability. The outstanding test performance of 320–800 transactions per second (TPS) indicates its potential to manage up to 12,500 TPS, markedly faster than other EVM-based solutions.
Injective Leads the RWA Tokenization Charge
Moreover, Injective Protocol has launched SBET stock on the mainnet, following its introduction of the first on-chain Digital Asset Treasury (DAT) last week. This initiative allows the tokenization of real-world assets, further solidifying Injective’s foothold in the decentralized finance sector.
The introduction of tokenized corporate bonds via Bondi Finance makes these financial instruments more accessible for both retail and institutional investors. Users can mint bond tokens during initial funding phases before trading them on secondary markets.
