Grayscale Introduces Its Initial Trusts for Sui's Core Protocols

Grayscale Ventures has unveiled two new investment trusts focused on Sui’s DeepBook and Walrus protocols, allowing accredited investors direct access to the underlying tokens.

Grayscale, a digital asset investment platform, has launched two new single-asset trusts that provide direct investment options in Sui protocols, namely DeepBook and Walrus.

  • DeepBook: A decentralized central limit order book built on the Sui blockchain, which serves as a liquidity layer for various applications within the ecosystem.
  • Walrus: A blockchain data storage platform designed to efficiently manage the vast data requirements created by the growth of AI technologies.

The Grayscale DeepBook Trust and Grayscale Walrus Trust are focused exclusively on the native tokens DEEP and WAL respectively. These trusts can be subscribed to on a daily basis through private placements, thereby creating fresh opportunities for institutional investors interested in Sui’s decentralized finance, social, and gaming functionalities.

Grayscale is recognized for its prominent investment vehicles like the Bitcoin Trust (GBTC) and the Ethereum Trust (ETHE), both of which have been transitioned into exchange-traded products. The company is expanding its offerings to cater to investors interested in various blockchain applications.
