The price of the shares offered by Circle is significantly higher than their initial offering price from June.

Circle (CRCL) is set to offer 10 million shares in a secondary stock offering priced at $130 per share, which is over four times its IPO price of $31 from June.

Here are some key details:

  • Circle will sell 2 million shares, while existing shareholders will sell 8 million.
  • The funds raised will support general corporate purposes without providing proceeds from the shareholders’ sale.

The shares first debuted on the NYSE in June, experiencing a trading surge that saw them increase by as much as 235% on their first trading day, closing at $83. The stock reached a peak of $298.99 on June 23, but closed at $139.23 on the last trading day, marking a drop of over 9% for that day.
