Startup M0 Secures $40 Million in Series B Round as Investor Interest in Stablecoins Grows

M0, a stablecoin startup, has successfully raised $40 million in Series B funding, bringing its total capital raised to nearly $100 million, while details regarding its valuation remain undisclosed.

Stablecoin startup M0 has successfully secured $40 million in its Series B funding. The round saw participation from Polychain and Ribbit Capital, along with contributions from the Endeavor Catalyst fund and existing investors Pantera and Bain Capital Crypto.

M0 has now raised nearly $100 million total but has opted not to disclose its valuation from this funding round.

The startup’s mission revolves around building a network for stablecoin issuers, allowing them to deploy tokens efficiently without the burden of developing their own software for asset transfers across blockchains.

Luca Prosperi, co-founder and CEO, emphasized the aim of the project, referring to it as “the layer zero of money.”

The rapid growth of the stablecoin market is noteworthy, having doubled its market capitalization in 2025, further fueled by encouraging regulatory clarity in the U.S. This trend is highlighted by the recent passing of the GENIUS act, which aims to establish a comprehensive framework for stablecoins. As of this month, the total market capitalization of stablecoins has surpassed $289 billion.
