Eric Trump Commends China's Contribution to Bitcoin; U.S. and Beijing at the Forefront

Eric Trump expressed admiration for China's role in the cryptocurrency sector, emphasizing the significant influence of both the U.S. and China on the future of digital finance.

Hong Kong — Eric Trump, the executive vice president of the Trump Organization, has praised China for its significant impact on Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies during a panel at BTC Asia. He stated, “There’s no question that China is a hell of a power when it comes to this world and doing it, doing it well.”

Trump also recognized the Middle East’s rapid adoption of cryptocurrency. He emphasized that the U.S.-China relationship is critical to the evolution of digital finance, asserting that both nations are leading the charge in cryptocurrency.

During a discussion, he mentioned that if his father, Donald Trump, were to meet with Chinese President Xi Jinping, he would love for Bitcoin discussions to take place. Eric Trump mentioned that he sees Bitcoin as a unifying force that fosters a global community across diverse backgrounds.

He described the United States as making rapid advancements in digital assets, indicating that under his father’s leadership, in just seven months there has been more progress than in the last decade. He believes this puts America in a winning position in the digital revolution, supported by strong backing from various financial institutions and investors.

Additionally, Eric Trump discussed that American Bitcoin, a mining venture partly owned by him and his brother Donald Trump Jr., is gearing up for a Nasdaq debut after successfully raising significant funds to enhance its Bitcoin infrastructure.
