Galaxy Digital Enables Stock Trading on Solana via Superstate Platform

Galaxy Digital's Class A shares are now available for trading on the Solana blockchain through Superstate.

Digital asset investment firm Galaxy Digital (GLXY) has started offering its Class A common stock on the Solana blockchain through a collaboration with Superstate. This initiative allows the stock to be tokenized, maintaining SEC-registered equity rights while enabling on-chain possession and transfers of shares.

Key Points:

  • Galaxy Digital is making its stock available on-chain through Superstate’s Opening Bell platform.
  • The partnership aims to combine traditional equity compliance with the advantages of blockchain like rapid settlement and increased transparency.

Galaxy’s shares are directly issued on-chain, with Superstate acting as the transfer agent, ensuring that any changes to the shareholder register are recorded instantly as tokens are exchanged between verified wallets.

Mike Novogratz, Galaxy’s founder and CEO, expressed, “We’re proud to be working with Superstate to help lay the groundwork for an on-chain capital market that bridges traditional equities with next-generation infrastructure. Our goal is a tokenized equity that brings the best of crypto – transparency, programmability and composability – into the traditional world.”
