YZi Labs Introduces $1 Billion Fund to Support BNB Chain Innovators
The new initiative will fund early-stage projects on the BNB Chain, offering significant resources and mentorship.
YZi Labs, formerly known as Binance Labs, has unveiled a substantial $1 billion Builder Fund designed to assist early-stage founders within the BNB Chain ecosystem.
The initiative aims to provide essential capital, infrastructure, and resources for teams engaged in sectors like Web3, AI, and biotech.
Financial Support for Projects
According to a statement from October 8, selected projects will receive up to $500,000 each and access to YZi Labs’ extensive network, which boasts over 460 million users. Participants will benefit from mentorship and developer tools as well as integration support facilitated by the firm’s partnerships.
“BNB Ecosystem represents the next phase of digital infrastructure, where decentralization, on-chain scalability, converges with security and real distribution,” said Ella Zhang, Head of YZi Labs.
The fund will focus on supporting projects that prioritize decentralized finance (DeFi), real-world assets (RWA), decentralized science (DeSci), payment systems, and wallet infrastructure.
YZi Labs has backed over 300 projects across 25 countries and six continents, with notable investments including PancakeSwap and ListaDAO.
As of October 2025, the Most Valuable Builder (MVB) initiative will align with the EASY Residency, providing up to $500,000 in capital for each team and direct outreach to YZi Labs’ core team.
Expansion of BNB Chain’s Residency Program
This funding announcement coincides with the expansion of YZi Labs’ EASY Residency program into new global markets like New York, San Francisco, Dubai, and Singapore, aiming to enhance engagement with the BNB Chain’s infrastructure.
Recently, BNB Chain marked a significant achievement with 26 million daily transactions, leading the way in decentralized exchange (DEX) trading volume and active users. On October 7, BNB surpassed its rival Solana in the number of active addresses.
In the previous month, BNB reached a record high above $1,330, and the Maxwell Hardfork further enhanced its performance by reducing transaction times and fees.
