
Fresh Bitcoin Acquisition: Strategy Expands Holdings to 640,418 BTC
Strategy, previously known as MicroStrategy, has increased its Bitcoin holdings significantly, now totaling over 640,000 BTC.
Strategy, the software firm previously recognized as MicroStrategy, has developed a routine of disclosing its Bitcoin purchases at the beginning of each week, and this Monday was no different.
Michael Saylor – a fervent advocate for Bitcoin and the founder of the organization – disclosed via X that the company has acquired 168 BTC for approximately $18.8 million, with an average price of $112,051 per Bitcoin. Strategy has achieved a year-to-date yield of 26% in 2025, and following this recent acquisition, its total Bitcoin holdings have now reached 640,418 BTC.

The company kicked off its Bitcoin investment journey during the summer of BTC and has spent roughly $47.4 billion to accumulate its holdings. At present, the USD value of its cryptocurrency assets exceeds $71 billion, indicating that Strategy is sitting on an impressive paper profit of around $24 billion.
On another note, the company’s stock value has been on a downward trajectory over the past few months after surpassing $450 during the summer. As it stands, MSTR is trading around $289, reflecting a 13% drop in the last month.
