Ethereum Introduces Rapid Preconfirmations with Innovative RPC Technology
Ethereum's latest RPC, developed by Primev, enables transactions to be preconfirmed in as little as 200 milliseconds, enhancing transaction speed and efficiency.
Ethereum’s mainnet now boasts the ability to execute block transfers within just 200 milliseconds, as reported by Primev through their innovative “FAST RPC” technology.
This advancement allows for swift preconfirmation of transactions—indicating they are set to be included in the upcoming blocks—facilitating high-speed activities like Ether transfers, smart contract interactions, and minting NFTs.
Preconfirmation offers users a glimpse that their transaction is likely to be added to the next block, whereas block inclusion signifies that it has officially been recorded.
For those familiar with Ethereum, this latency could match that of high-speed layer 1 systems such as Sui, generally securing confirmations within a similar timeframe.
Murat Akdeniz, Primev’s founder, showcased a nearly instantaneous Ether transfer via MetaMask, purportedly preconfirmed in just 377 milliseconds and subsequently included in the same block.
Ethereum L1 is painfully slow 😩
Can devs PLEASE fix this?!?
For 2+ years, the @primev team has been grinding to supercharge Ethereum mainnet.

As for Primev’s FAST RPC solution, it conveniently connects with crypto wallets such as MetaMask or WalletConnect, offering users the means to replace their existing RPC with Primev’s offering for enhanced performance.
Users are required to fund Primev’s “gas tank” with their wallet address “0x24A…c2ACf” to enjoy the full benefits on-chain.
For many, this could signal a shift towards faster on-chain interactions while remaining on the Ethereum mainnet.
