Can Ripple (XRP) Reach New Heights Before Year-End? Insights from AI
A survey of three AI platforms reveals differing predictions on Ripple's potential to achieve a new all-time high by the end of 2025.
2025 saw considerable gains for Ripple’s XRP, achieving highs, but recent weeks have not favored bulls. To gauge the potential for a new all-time high (ATH) by year’s end, we consulted three prominent AI chatbots.
Conditions for an ATH
XRP dazzled with a price peak of about $3.65 in July, but has since seen declines, currently valued around $2.39 (according to CoinGecko). The AI, ChatGPT, suggested that a rise to another peak this year is possible but fraught with uncertainty. It posited that a significant catalyst is essential for this to happen soon, highlighting a breakout above the $3 to $3.20 mark.
ChatGPT estimates a 25-30% likelihood for XRP to hit a new ATH in 2025, while positing a 50-55% chance for a rise to the low $3 range.
Perplexity provided a bleaker outlook, suggesting XRP is unlikely to exceed its prior peak by New Year’s Eve. However, it acknowledged the potential impact of spot ETF approvals in the USA, which could instigate price boosts amid expected volatility.
“Caution and diversified risk management remain essential,” Perplexity advised.
A Bright Outlook from Grok
Conversely, Grok, the AI integrated into social media platform X, forecasts a 60-70% chance for XRP to breach a new ATH in Q4. It noted the resolution of the Ripple vs. SEC lawsuit as a positive factor for price growth and hinted at new ETFs involving XRP, which could spark substantial upward movement akin to Bitcoin’s surge in 2024.
However, Grok warned that if XRP falls below the $2 mark, achieving a new record in 2026 could become challenging. Notably, analyst Ali Martinez has suggested that XRP could head towards this critical level soon.
