HYPE Surges 14% Daily, Bitcoin Aims for $112K: Weekend Overview
Bitcoin's price has climbed to $112,000, showcasing considerable volatility, while HYPE and other cryptocurrencies see sharp gains.
Bitcoin’s steady uptick following the post-CPI correction has persisted over the past 24 hours, crossing the $112,000 mark for the first time since Tuesday.
Most altcoins have seen minor increases, but HYPE has outshined them all with an impressive 14% jump to a price of $46. XRP has also gained 4%, climbing to $2.65.
Will Bitcoin Reclaim $112K?
Beginning the week strong, Bitcoin surged significantly, jumping from $117,500 to a peak of $114,000, before undergoing a painful correction that saw it dip below $106,000 within just 24 hours.
However, bulls soon took over, keeping Bitcoin from declining further. It started to regain momentum, reaching $111,000 just before the release of US CPI data for September. News of lower-than-expected inflation propelled BTC to rise by $1,000, although it retracted by over $2,000 shortly thereafter.
By Saturday morning, Bitcoin restored its losses, approaching the substantial $112,000 threshold. After some fluctuations, it managed to surpass this significant level and even nudged close to $113,000, only to be halted for the moment.
Currently, Bitcoin’s market capitalization has surpassed $2.240 trillion, while its dominance among altcoins sits at 57.7% according to CoinGecko.
