Truth Social, emerging from Trump Media and Technology Group (TMTG), aims to create a prediction market on its platform to enhance engagement for its 6.3 million users. In partnership with Crypto.com, this new feature, named Truth Predict, seeks to ‘democratize information’ and offer a platform for users to predict outcomes based on collective insights.

“For too long, global elites have closely controlled these markets — with Truth Predict, we’re democratizing information and empowering everyday Americans to harness the wisdom of the crowd, turning free speech into actionable foresight,” said Devin Nunes, CEO of TMTG.

The initiative aligns with a growing global prediction markets industry, with competitors like Kalshi and Polymarket shaping the current landscape.

Upcoming US Launch

The TMTG statement indicated that the prediction market will start beta testing on Truth Social in the near future, advancing toward a full launch in the United States.

However, existing platforms like Kalshi have encountered regulatory hurdles in the US, while Polymarket is trying to re-establish its operations after previous legal complications with the CFTC.

Donald Trump Jr., who is also involved in the Trump Organization, has recently joined Polymarket’s advisory board, indicating increased familial ties to the evolving prediction markets landscape.
