With the festive season of 2025 approaching, the Pi Network team has announced an exciting new initiative designed to boost engagement among commerce applications and local businesses accepting Pi.
Pioneers will have the chance to utilize their Pi for various online and in-store purchases, benefitting from significant discounts.
Pi and the Holidays
The initiative, dubbed the Community Commerce Initiative, aims to bolster small businesses, enhance the practical usage of the native token, and simplify the process for Pioneers to locate apps and merchants that accept the currency. As part of this effort, the Pi Network team will host a community raffle featuring Pi-branded merchandise such as t-shirts and hats.
Participation is straightforward: app developers and merchants can engage by crafting their holiday promotions, discounts, or innovative shopping experiences, publicizing these in the PiFest Fireside Forum Channel, and directly managing sales and delivery with customers.
The Pi Network will offer the necessary visibility by consolidating all related activities into a comprehensive ecosystem event while granting complete creative liberty to third-party developers.
Interested users can explore the directory or the Fireside Forum to connect with participating merchants, shop via Mainnet commerce apps, take advantage of seasonal offers, and share their shopping experiences on the PiFest channel.
100 Pi Merchandise Winners
In addition to seasonal savings, participants will have the opportunity to win exclusive items. One hundred winners will be chosen from valid posts in the PiFest channel to receive branded shirts and hats, facilitated by a third-party provider with distribution across more than 220 regions worldwide, as confirmed by the team.
Posts in the PiFest Fireside Forum channel are automatically entered into the raffle. However, the team clarified that prizes are “non-transferable, not for resale, and do not imply any formal affiliation with Pi Network.”
