This marks another claim from Trump in recent days, following his statement on Monday asserting that the conflict is nearly resolved. These claims, however, have not been endorsed by some officials from allied nations, including Israel.
Reports hint at a continued military presence, with both U.S. and Israeli forces planning additional operations in the region for at least two more weeks. Furthermore, the situation has escalated with reports of Iran deploying mines in the Strait of Hormuz.
The United States military has reportedly dismantled at least 16 mine-laying vessels in the vicinity, though officials have noted it is unclear how many mines Iran has actually laid.
Before Trump’s comments, Bitcoin was trading around $69,200 but surged almost instantly to approximately $71,100. Currently, it remains above the $70,000 mark.
