
Mihailo Bjelic, Co-Founder of Polygon, Steps Away from Layer 2 Network
Polygon, which was initially named Matic, was established by Jaynti Kanani, Sandeep Nailwal, Mihailo Bjelic, and Anurag Arjun.

Mihailo Bjelic declared on X, “After much consideration, I’ve chosen to resign from the board of the Polygon Foundation and reduce my daily involvement with Polygon Labs.”
Translation: After much thought and reflection, I’ve decided to step down from the board of the Polygon Foundation, and wind down my day-to-day involvement with Polygon Labs.
With Bjelic’s exit, Sandeep Nailwal is the last of the founding team to remain. Nailwal expressed gratitude for Bjelic’s contributions and wished him success in future endeavors.
As of now, Polygon’s POL is experiencing a 5% decline over the last 24 hours, trading above 23 cents.
