Users of the Solana blockchain can now access the network via the MetaMask wallet. MetaMask has officially announced that its integration with Solana is live, allowing users to transact on the second largest smart-contract platform and engage with Solana-based applications directly through the wallet.

This new feature makes Solana the first non-EVM (Ethereum Virtual Machine) network integrated into the wallet, suggesting there will be additional non-EVM networks adopted in the future.
