In late August, Pi Network’s team initiated the Pi Hackathon 2025, an event aimed at motivating users to develop real-world applications utilizing the PI token. A reward pool of 160,000 coins was designated for the top eight teams. However, details about the event’s conclusion have not yet been disclosed, despite it being scheduled to end by October 15.

Additionally, the platform Pi App Studio has been upgraded to enhance app creation and customization within its ecosystem.

A notable user on X who follows Pi Network’s co-founder, Nicolas Kokkalis, provided insights into the project’s milestones and potential future updates. They highlighted ongoing Testnet evaluations, AI-enhanced development tools, and new community-driven applications.

Pi Price Analysis

In contrast to the Pi Network advancements, the value of its native token has drastically plummeted, currently priced around $0.20, reflecting a 42% decrease monthly and a staggering 93% drop from its peak of $3 observed in February.

Indicators such as an increase in the amount of PI tokens on exchanges and upcoming token releases suggest that selling pressure may intensify. Approximately 412 million PI tokens are currently held on exchanges, with around 116 million expected to be unlocked in the next month.
